Fantastic Addition to Your Wardrobe!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I ordered this in a 4 in the Mulberry, I usually wear a two but the only color available was the brown, and I am very pleased with my coat, It could be more fitted for my tastes, but since I did order a size up, I will easily be able to wear scarves, jeans and sweaters easily with it . The Mulberry color is incredible, not your typical “red coat” that stands out, but a very fashionable, classy, unique and timeless, style that is simple to wear with jeans, over a brew dress…etc, etc-I can do so many different things with this-I can not wait to wear it on some of my winter vacations to colder destinations….of course it will need the right accessories and layering to be used as a “winter coat” but income in Florida, this is fantastic when it gets just a tad nipply here ![]()
Lots of compliments
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this coat in black last winter and have worn it many times since being paid it. Every time I wear it I have recieved many compliments from all age groups. It looks fantastic when you are dressed up, but also looks fantastic with black straight leg jeans for a more casual gothic look (fantastic for concerts). The sizing is accurate if you use their size chart, and it certainly is flattering on us plus size women. It is that hard to find ultra trendy. I have just ordered the Mulberry this year because it is such a fantastic coat.
Nice design & fabric, weird sizing
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I fell in like with this coat when I saw the depiction. I was a bit uncertain about being paid it when I read the reviews citing weird sizing. But I was too intrigued to resist. By Newport News’ sizing chart, I was 3 sizes larger than what I really wear. If you’ve got a bit more sand in your hourglass than the gal in the photo, I’d recommend using their chart, and if your numbers fall between two sizes, order the smaller size rather than the larger. I reckon I doubtless would’ve been able to give it a 5 star rating had I done so.
Lovely coat for the price.

I really like this coat I wear it often and get a lot of attention because of it. It’s unique and thats what I like about it. It is meant to look like a ancient fashion riding coat. Perhaps 18th century, victorian ish. So don’t expect it to be this incredible modern coat or something. I bought a size 16 and it fits me like a glove. It is definately not hideous at all. The only issue is the buttons don’t like to stay on well, I keep having to sew them back on. Though the material is nice and it flows just fantastic in the wind. It’s a sexy coat. I also bought the flounce white shirt that she wears under it. Makes the coat even more awe-inspiring.
Glad I bought this on sale

I have been eyeing this coat for a long time and finally chose to buy it when I saw that it was 30% off. Had I bought it full retail, I don’t reckon I would be nearly as pleased with my buy.
The cut is very flattering. It was a small larger than I probable, but if I needed to take it in, I would have no problem doing it since I delight in wearing the coat so much.
The fabric is thin and kind of costumey. There are no pockets – only flaps which make the illusion of them. (Which is why I would have been upset at paying full retail.) The eyehook closures are very kitsch and the buttons might be simple, but definately NOT hideous like a previous reviewer stated. They are a gunmetal color and very shiny.
I have already expected a lot of positive comments on the coat and many people question where I got it. I feel like I got my money’s worth out of this.
